Click an element to see its class, name, GlobalId, storey and all property sets.
Hide elements H
Take single walls, slabs or façade panels out of the view to look inside.
Measure
Distance, area, height above terrain, vertical difference and coordinates.
Annotations
Pins, circles, lines and areas with category and priority, clickable in the scene.
Clipping
Cut holes into the terrain for foundations, tunnels and excavation pits.
Google 3D Tiles
Photorealistic buildings, trees and bridges worldwide as the built environment, streamed via Cesium ion. One click switches between terrain and Google 3D Tiles.
Terrain & imagery
Switch to your own DGM from Cesium ion; choose Bing, Google or Sentinel imagery.
Scenes
Save models, view, hidden elements, measurements, lights, weather and time together.
Walk mode G
Walk through the model at eye level with mouse, keyboard or gamepad.
Camera flights
Orbit, flyover, reveal or a tour of your saved views, generated around the model, optionally as a time-lapse of the sun.
Video export
Record a flight as an MP4 in Full HD with the geoBIM logo, with or without the panels.
Materials
Realistic steel, concrete, masonry, asphalt and timber surfaces for models that carry a material property per element.
Import preview
IFC and point clouds become 3D Tiles on your own PC, no upload, then load right away.

What it does
Geospatial context for your BIM projects
Planning, construction and infrastructure teams use geoBIM to see models in context: on the actual terrain, in the actual built environment, at the actual time of day.
The sun follows the real date, time and location. Weather brings volumetric clouds, rain, snow and fog. At night, place your own lights or let geoBIM light the scene for you.
Point, spot and area lights in lumens and Kelvin
Auto-light from OpenStreetMap street lamps and roads
Lights for every IFC light fixture and room

Put every model exactly where it belongs
Move, turn and scale any tileset with a gizmo, typed coordinates or pick & drop. For local tilesets the new position can be written into tileset.json, so every other 3D Tiles viewer shows it in the same place.
East / north / up arrows and a turning ring, 0.1 m and 5° steps with Shift
Georeferenced: positions survive origin shifts and are saved in scenes
The original tileset.json is kept as a backup

Your data, your terrain
Stream from Cesium ion or point geoBIM at a folder of 3D Tiles on your disk. Use your own high-resolution DGM as terrain; it fits seamlessly into the global terrain.
Local tilesets need no upload
Import IFC and point clouds (LAS, LAZ, E57, PLY, XYZ): converted on your PC into 3D Tiles, placed by their georeferencing or where you look (preview)
IFC classes, GlobalIds and property sets stay attached to every element
